Throughout her career, Maida has worked with students across elementary, middle, and high school settings, specializing in reading intervention, English Language Arts, English language acquisition, and individualized academic support. Her leadership experience includes serving as a Reading Coach and ESOL Coordinator, where she supported teachers, developed instructional strategies, analyzed student performance data, and implemented targeted interventions to help struggling learners achieve academic success.

Recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2022, Maida has dedicated her career to creating meaningful learning experiences that build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and encourage students to become independent, lifelong learners.

As the founder and sole owner of Family Pathway Learning Academy, Maida brings her extensive classroom and instructional leadership experience into a personalized online educational environment. Her vision is to provide families with flexible, high-quality educational services, including K–12 tutoring, reading and literacy intervention, homeschool educational support, academic assessments, parent advocacy, and English language instruction for adults.

Maida understands that traditional educational settings do not always meet every learner's needs. She believes that education should never follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, every child and adult deserves the opportunity to learn at an appropriate pace, receive individualized guidance, and discover their full potential.

Her Mission

“Every learner deserves an educational pathway that recognizes their individuality, builds their confidence, and inspires a lifelong love of learning.”

Through Family Pathway Learning Academy, Maida is committed to partnering with families, empowering students, and helping learners of all ages achieve meaningful educational success.
